NAK Katsiberis supports the construction of the first Bee Spot on the island of Spetses.
In collaboration with Bee for Planet, the company is constructing a 100 square meter pollinator garden on the grounds of the Anargyrios and Korgialenios School of Spetses.
Approximately 335 pollinator plants from 40 different plant species will be planted in the garden. At the same time, 15 pollinator hotels will be placed among the plants. This oasis of biodiversity that will provide shelter to approximately 1,500 pollinators, which struggle to build their nests due to urbanization and fires.
This initiative will result in the pollination of 63,000,000 flowers each year.
